King Marlin Pro-Am Recap

13 Hammerheads trekked to Lewisville, TX to compete against 45 other teams from around the country in the King Marlin Pro-Am Classic December 16th-19th, 2021. The team earned 69 Best Times, 4 new Champ-Bonus Cuts, 10 new Sectional-Bonus Cuts, 2 new Sectional cuts and 3 AAA times.

Notable Swims
-Nick Bracken picked up 2 new Champ-Bonus cuts in the 50 Free and 200 Back and finished in the top 50 in the 200 Fly
-Collin Burton finished in the top 50 in his 50 Fly
-Isaac Dierker earned a new Champ-Bonus cut for his 200 Back
-Makaila Hayes finished 39th out of 72 in her 200 IM
-Olivia Kindle earned a new Champ-Bonus time for 100 Fly and placed 39th out of 102 in her 50 Back
-Roman Lewis grabbed 2 new Sectional-Bonus cuts in 200 Free and 200 IM and his 34th place (out of 191 swimmers) finish in the 100 Free earned him not only a Sectional-Bonus cut but a AAA time, as well
-Jacey McGraw returned to finals to finish in the top 32 in her 200 Breast
-Sarah Miner earned herself a Sectional-Bonus time for her 200 Back. She also placed 14th in the 1000 Free and top 32 in the 500 Free and 200 Back
-Clay Pilliard returned to finals in the 50 Back to place 28th. He also earned a Sectional-Bonus cut in the 200 Back
-Raphael Realina picked up a Sectional-Bonus cut in 100 Breast and finished Top 50 in 3 events.
-At prelims, Camille Schear grabbed her Sectional-Bonus cut in her 200 Free, but shaved over 2.5 more seconds at finals to place 18th and earn her Sectionals and AAA times. She returned to finals 3 more times in 100 Breast, 100 Back & 500 Free (finishing 18th and earning her AAA time in that event)
-Jack Stanley earned his Sectional time for his 100 Back and his Sectional-Bonus times for his 100 Breast and 200 Breast. He returned to finals in 2 events: 50 Back and 200 Breast.
-Hannah Stewart scored her Sectional-Bonus cut in her 200 IM and returned to finals in that event
