Future Stars Re-cap

NLU hosted the Future Stars meet in Gladstone on December 11, 2022. There were over 175 swimmers ages 10 & Under. Many thanks to our parents and swimmers ages 11 & Over who volunteered and helped make the meet a success! We had 24 swimmers compete and they swam to 57 Best Times, 8 new District cuts and a new Bonus cut.

Notable Swims

-Harper Bowser swam his first 100 IM, 50 Free and 50 Back.

-Preston Carlson swam in his first meet as a Hammerhead.

-Alexandra Claerhout Nuttall cut almost 8 seconds in her 100 IM.

-Kiefer Conrad swam his first 50 Breast and 100 Free.

-Mallory Dunaway cut almost 9 seconds in her 100 IM. She also earned 2 new District cuts in the 50 Free and 100 IM and a Bonus cut in her 50 Breast.

-Charlotte Easley swam in her first meet as a Hammerhead.

-Baily Farmer cut over 12 seconds in her 100 IM.

-Codey Farmer 10 seconds in his 50 Free.

-Evelyn Keane swam her first 50 Fly.

Grace Keane swam to 2 new District cuts in the 50 Free and 50 Fly.

Kian McHugh picked up a District cut in his 50 Fly.

-Clara Nguyen swam her first 50 Breast.

-Morgan Pickett cut over 7 seconds in her 50 Breast. She also swam her first 100 Free.

-Brady Poss swam his first 100 Free. He also picked up a Districts cut in his 50 Free.

-Owen Pudenz swam his first 100 IM, 50 Fly and 50 Breast.

-Karder Walburn earned 2 new Districts cuts in 50 Breast and 100 Free.

-Neil Williams swam to 4 top 8 finishes.

-Griffin Wilson swam his first 50 Back and cut almost 12 seconds in his 100 IM.
