NLU sent 46 swimmers to Topeka to compete in the True Blue Igloo meet January 6th-8th. There were 170 best times, 7 new District cuts, 5 new Bonus cuts, 8 new Champs cuts, 1 new Senior Champs cut and a new record!

-Madeline Briggs earned a new Districts cut in her 50 Back
-Grady Burns returned to Finals in all 5 of his events and earned 1st in his 100 Fly.
-Claire Dierker returned to Finals in all 6 of her events and finished 1st in 100 Free and 100 Breast. She earned 3 new Champs cuts: 100 Bac, 100 IM and 50 Back.
-Isaac Dierker returned to Finals in all 6 of his events and finished 1st in 200 Breast after an over 7 second shave.
-Mallory Dunaway wowed the crowd with an over 7.5 second drop to earn a Bonus cut in her 100 Free. She also earned a new Districts cut in her 50 Fly. She placed Top 8 in all 4 of her events.
-Charlotte Easley dropped over 15 seconds in her 100 Free.
-Jack Francis-Cummins returned to Finals in all 6 of his events and took 1st in 100 Breast. He dropped over 10 seconds in his 400 IM, over 19 seconds in his 100 Back and over 22 seconds in his 500 Free.
-Noah Greenlee picked up a new Districts cut in 100 Breast after dropping over 13 seconds in that event. He placed Top 8 in 5 of his events.
-Deacon Gutshall returned to Finals in all 6 of his events and took 1st in 5 of them. He also dropped over 15 seconds in his 400 IM.
-Makaila Hayes returned fin Finals in all 3 of her events.
-Justin Hendricks returned to Finals in both of his events and swam his first 500 Free.
-Jia Hurst returned to Finals in all 6 of her events and grabbed a new Bonus cut in her 200 Free.
-Everett Katzenberger returned to Finals in 4 events and swam his first 100 Breast. He dropped over 9 seconds in his 100 IM.
-Chase Kindle swam his first 500 Free and returned to Finals in 3 of his events.
-Megan Kindle deserves recognition for being the only Hammerhead to willingly return to Finals in 200 Fly and swim a total of 16 laps of it in one day (applause!) She shaved over 8 seconds while doing so and earned a new Senior Champs cut. She also returned to Finals in 2 other events.
-Piper Kobs returned to Finals in all 5 of her events and finished 1st in her 50 Free and 50 Fly. She grabbed a new Champs cut in her 50 Breast.
-Roman Lewis returned to Finals in all 3 of his events and was victorious in 200 IM and 100 Free.
