Meet of Champions Re-cap

Seven swimmers travelled to Bartlesville, OK to compete at the Meet of Champions January 13-15, 2023. There were 4 new Senior Champs cuts, a new Sectionals Bonus cut, 2 new Sectionals cuts and a new team record.

Notable Swims

-Grady Burns returned to finals in 4 events: 200 Free, 50 Free, 100 Fly and 100 Free. He earned a new Senior Champs cut in his 200 Back.

-Jack Francis-Cummins returned to finals in all 6 of his events: 200 Free, 200 Breast, 50 Free, 200 IM, 100 Free and 100 Breast. After a victory in the 200 Breast, he grabbed a Sectionals cut and new team record! He also earned a Sectionals cut after his win in the 100 Breast and he earned a Sectionals Bonus cut in the 200 IM and a Senior Champs cut in the 50 Free.

-Makaila Hayes returned to finals in 5 events: 100 Back, 50 Free, 100 Fly, 200 IM and 100 Breast.

-Findlay Hume returned to finals in 3 events: 100 Back, 100 Free and 200 Back. He earned new Senior Champs cuts in 200 Back and 200 IM.

-Clay Pilliard returned to finals in 4 events: 200 Free, 100 Back, 200 IM and 200 Back.

-Raphael Realina returned to finals in 4 events: 200 Breast, 200 IM, 100 Free and 100 Breast.

-Hannah Stewart returned to finals in 5 events: 200 Breast, 50 Free, 200 IM, 100 Free and 100 Breast.
