NLU Winter Showdown Re-cap
Thanks to all of our families who volunteered to help out at the NLU Winter Showdown! We had 103 swimmers earn 362 best times, 15 new District cuts, 18 new Champs-Bonus cuts, 9 new Champs cuts, and 20 new Senior Champs cuts.

-Tristan Allen swam 3 events for the first time: 100 Free, 50 Breast and 200 Free.
-Wyatt Allen swam his first 200 IM, 100 Free and 50 Breast.
-Avery Ball swam her first 500 Free and dropped over 12 seconds in her 200 IM.
-Luke Bartels swam his first 50 Back.
-Noah Bernard swam to 4th place in the 100 Breast.
-Eden Bettis dropped over 7 seconds in her 50 Free and over 8 seconds in her 100!
-Harper Bowser swam to his first District cut in the 50 Breast! He also shaved almost 8 seconds in the 100 IM.
-Alex Briggs finished in the Top 8 in all 4 of his events.
-Madeline Briggs picked up her first 200 Free.
-Logan Broek picked up 2 new Districts cuts in the 50 Free and 50 Back.

-Nyema Clemons dropped over 7 seconds in her 100 IM and picked up a new Districts cut in the 50 Fly.
-Kiefer Conrad dropped almost 16 seconds in his 50 Back!
-Noelle Diehl swam her first 100 Fly and took 6th!
-Claire Dierker swam to 9 top 8 finishes and dropped over 40 seconds in her 1000 Free which earned her 2nd place.
-Isaac Dierker finished in the top 8 in 4 of his events.
-Mallory Dunaway swam to 6 top 8 finishes.
-Natalie Dunaway dropped over 7 seconds in her 100 Breast and swam to a victory in the 50 Free and 2nd place finishes in the 100 Breast and 200 Free.
-Charlotte Easley swam her first 100 Back, 100 Breast and 50 Breast.
-Baily Farmer competed in her first 100 Breast.
-Codey Farmer dropped over 14 seconds to finish 4th in 50 Breast.
-Alex Foot swam his first 400 IM which landed him in the top 8. After an over 9 seconds drop, Alex improved his 100 Breast to a Bonus cut. He also picked a Bonus cut in the 50 Free and finished in the top 8 in 3 of his events.
-Jack Francis-Cummins picked up 2 new Senior Champs cuts in the 200 Back and 100 Fly. He finished in the top 8 in all 3 of his events.
-Drew Franklin swam to 6 new Senior Champs cuts and 3 top 8 finishes.
-Peyton Frost finished 6th in her 50 Breast.
-Asher Gellis swam his first 500 Free.
-Rowan Gellis swam her first 500 Free and 200 Back. She finished in the top 8 in her 200 Breast and shaved over 13 seconds in her 200 IM.
-Kimberly Greene finished in the top 8 in 2 of her events.
-Noah Greenlee swam his first 200 IM and finished 5th! After an over 15 seconds drop in his 50 Fly, he finished 5th in that event. He finished in the top 8 in 2 other events.
-Deacon Gutshall picked up a new Senior Champs cut in the 200 Fly. He also finished in the top 8 in all 8 of his events including victories in the 1000 Free, 200 Free and 500 Free.
-Sophia Hall picked up a new Districts cut in the 50 Free. She dropped over 9 seconds in her 200 IM.
-Finn Harrold picked up 2 new Senior Champs cuts in the 100 Free and 50 Free. He also finished in the top 8 in 2 of his events.
-Nora Harrold picked up 3 new events: 100 IM, 50 Back and 50 Breast.
-Gracie Hayes earned 4 new Bonus cuts in her 50 Free, 100 Breast, 200 IM and 100 Fly. She dropped over 17 seconds in her 500 Free and over 7 seconds in her 200 IM. She finished in the top 8 in 7 of her events.
-Makaila Hayes was the only Hammerhead to finish 1st in all 6 of her events! Way to go Mak!
-Justin Hendricks picked up a new Districts cut in the 50 Free. He also swam his first 200 Fly and finished in the top 8 in his 200 Breast.
-Findlay Hume swam 4 new events: 200 Breast, 400 IM, 200 Fly and 100 Breast. He earned Senior Champs cuts in his 400 IM and 100 Breast and finished in the top 8 three times.
-Jia Hurst shaved over 9 seconds in her 200 Fly to earn a Champs cut. She finished in the top 8 in all 6 of her events.
-Henry Johnson swam his first 200 Breast. He also picked up new Districts cuts in the 100 Breast and 50 Free.
-Everett Katzenberger finished in the top 8 in his 100 Back.
-Evelyn Keane finished in the top 8 in 50 Breast after shaving over 13 seconds. She also placed in the top 8 in her 50 Back.
-Grace Keane dropped over 10 seconds in her 100 IM.
-David Keightley finished in the top 8 in his 200 IM.
-Chase Kindle placed in the top 8 in his 100 Fly.
-Megan Kindle raced to 3 top 8 finishes.
-Andrew Kirkland swam his first 100 Free and 100 Breast.
-Piper Kobs picked up a new Champs cut in her 50 Free. She finished in the top 3 in all 7 of her events with victories in 3 of them: 200 Back, 100 Back and 200 Free.
-Roman Lewis swam to 6 top 8 finishes with victories in 2 of them: 100 Free and 50 Free.
-Julian Locke picked up a Champs cut in his 50 Breast, swam his first 200 Free and shaved over 11 seconds in his 100 IM. He placed in the top 8 in 4 of his events.
-Harmony Lucas picked up 2 new Bonus cuts in the 100 IM and 200 IM. She raced to 5 top 8 finishes.
-Jake Maiseroulle had quite the meet! He improved to 3 Bonus cuts in 100 IM, 50 Free and 100 Breast. He earned his first Champs cut in the 50 Back and picked up a Districts cut in the 50 Breast. He swam his first 500 Free and dropped over 9 seconds in his 100 Breast. He finished in the top 8 in 8 of his events – with a victory in his 50 Back.
-Jacey McGraw finished in the top 8 in 3 of her events.
-Kian McHugh raced to 3 top 8 finishes. He shaved over 7 seconds in his 100 Fly.
-Neala McHugh picked up a new Bonus cut in the 100 IM. After an over 9 second shave, she picked up a Champs cut in the 200 IM. She also earned a Champs cut in the 100 Fly. Neala finished in the top 8 in 7 of her events.
-Molly Mills swam her first 200 Back, 200 Breast, 200 Fly, 100 Breast and 50 Free.
-Teagan Mitchell swam to 9 top 8 finishes with a victory in her 100 IM.
-Tavin Nachlinger picked up a Bonus cut in his 50 Free. He also had 3 top 8 finishes.
-Leo Nguyen grabbed a new Champs cut in his 100 IM and a Bonus cut in the 200 Free. Seven of his races ended in the top 8.
-Sean Nguyen raced to 7 top 8 finishes.
-Brooke Nichols swam her first 200 Back and picked up a new Senior Champs cut while doing so. She placed in the top 8 in all 3 of her events.
-Jeffrey Older shaved over 7 seconds in his 100 Free.
-Grace Pickett swam her first 100 Breast and earned a Districts cut while doing so. She also swam her first 100 Back.
-Morgan Pickett swam her first 100 Breast and earned 4th.
-Clay Pilliard placed in the top 8 in all 3 of his events.
-Brady Poss swam his first 50 Breast and earned a Districts cut. He also swam his first 200 Free and earned Bonus times in the 50 Free and 50 Back. All 6 of his races landed him in the top 8.
-Zoe Prado earned 2 new Bonus times in the 100 Free and 200 Free after racing to top 8 finishes in those events.
-Owen Pudenz shaved over 8 seconds in his 100 IM to claim a victory in his 100 IM. He was also first to the wall in the 50 Free and 50 Back.
-Rainier Realina swam to 3 top 8 finishes.
-Raphael Realina finished in the top 8 in all 7 of his races. He was first to the wall in 400 IM and 200 IM.
-Ellie Reece picked up 2 new Districts cuts in her 100 Back and 50 Fly.
-Kemper Roberts earned a Champs cut in his 200 Fly. He placed in the top 8 in all 5 of his events.
-Kennedy Roberts picked up a Champs cut in her 200 Free. She swam to top 8 finishes in all 6 of her races.
-Breckyn Shaw swam her first 500 Free. After an over 11 second drop, she finished in the top 8 in her 200 Fly.
-Magnolia Sheen swam in her first meet as a Hammerhead.
-Anderson Sibley shaved almost 8 seconds in his 100 Free to earn a new Districts cut. He also shaved over 11 seconds in his 100 IM and swam his first 100 Breast. Three of his races ended in the Top 8.
-Jack Stanley raced to 5 top 8 finishes.
-Hannah Stewart finished in the top 8 in all 6 of her races with victories in 200 Breast, 100 Breast and 200 Free.
-Mia Sulzen swam her first 100 Back.
-Enzue Tang swam his first 200 Fly and picked up a Senior Champs cut in the 100 Free. He also dropped 10 seconds in his 200 IM.
-Avery Tipton raced to a Districts time in her 50 Back.
