EKC Last Chance Re-cap
(We still do not have official results from the Lincoln Capital City Classic meet in late June. I typicallly like to send these re-caps in order but would also like to move on with the season. I will get those out as soon as we receive the file.)
Forty-six Hammerheads took one last chance to qualify for end-of-season meets at the EKC Last Chance Meet in Lenexa July 8-9. It paid off as the team swam to 159 best times and collected 28 new Districts cuts, 23 new Bonus cuts and 21 new Champs cuts.

-Noah Bernard picked up 3 new Districts cuts in 50 Free, 50 Back and 100 Free and 2 Champs cuts in 100 Breast and 50 Breast.
-Adam Conrad earned a Districts cut in 100 Free.
-Elisa DeCaro picked up a Districts cut in her 100 Fly after an over 7 second drop.
-Claire Dierker picked up 1st place and a Champs cut in her 200 IM after an over 8 second shave. She also earned a Champs cut in the 100 Breast.
-Alex Foot shaved over 7 seconds to pick up a Bonus cut in the 100 Breast.
-Deacon Gutshall took 1st place in the 200 Free.
-Henry Johnson dropped 7.5 seconds in his 200 IM.
-Jakeb Kobs earned a new Districts cut in 200 IM, a new Bonus cut in the 100 Back and a new Champs cut in the 100 Free.
-Piper Kobs dropped over 12.5 seconds in the 400 Free to earn a Champs cut. She also earned one in the 200 Free and a Districts cut in the 100 Breast.
-Jacey McGraw placed 1st in the 200 IM and earned a new Districts cut in the 100 Breast.
-Kian McHugh swam his first 200 IM and earned a Districts cut while doing so! An over 10.5 second shave in the 100 Free earned him another Districts cut and he picked up a Champs cut in the 50 Fly.
-Neala McHugh picked up a Champs cut in the 200 Breast.
-Teagan Mitchell earned 4 new Districts cuts in her 100 Fly, 200 IM, 100 Back and 200 Free and 2 Bonus cuts in the 50 Free and 100 Free.
-Leo Nguyen earned District cuts in 50 Back and 100 Free, Bonus cuts in 200 IM, 100 Back and 50 Breast and Champs cuts in 50 Fly and 100 Fly.

-Neil Williams shaved over 7 seconds in his 200 Free and grabbed a Bonus cut in his 100 Fly after swimming it his first time.
-Clara Wilson earned a pair of Bonus cuts in the 200 IM and 100 Fly.
