DSMY Snow Globe Classic Re-cap

Nine swimmers headed north to Des Moines, Iowa  to compete in the DSMY Snow Globe Classic December 1-3. There were 37 best times, 2 new District cuts, 2 new Bonus cuts, 1 new Champs cut, 2 new Senior Champs cut, 3 Sectionals Bonus cuts and 2 new Sectionals cuts!

Notable Swims

- Isabelle Collop punched her ticket to Districts with a cut in the 50 Breast. She also cut over 8 seconds in her 200 Breast.

-Noah Greenlee picked up a Champs cut in his 100 Free.

-Henry Johnson returned to Finals in 100 Back and 200 IM. He picked up a new Senior Champs cut in his 100 Back and shaved over 17 seconds in his 200 IM and over 10 seconds in his 200 Free.

-Rainier Realina swam his first 500 Free and 100 Back. He returned to Finals in 100 Breast and picked up a new Bonus cut while doing so. He also picked up a Bonus cut in the 200 Breast and a new Districts cut in 100 Back.

-Raphael Realina not only swam to victory in 5 of his events, and 2^nd place in 2 events but he brought home the high point award for 15&Over Boys. He picked up a new Sectionals Bonus cut in the 100 Back and shaved almost 8 seconds in his 200 Back.

-Philip Shekleton shaved over 7 seconds in his 200 IM.

-Hannah Stewart swam to victory in 2 of her events and 3^rd in an event. She brought home the 3^rd place high point award and earned 2 new Sectional Bonus cuts in 100 Breast and 200 Back and 2 new Sectional cuts in 100 Free and 200 Free!

-Isaac Stewart swam to 3 3^rd place finishes at Finals.
