9U MAL Championships

NLU had 8 9&Unders swim at the MAL 9U Championships in Topeka on February 3. Each swimmer swam a length of each stroke and a 50 Free.

The following Hammerheads represented NLU:

Emma Davis, Jack Jeppson, Caden Kimmis, Adalind McManus, Owen Pudenz,
Clark Williams, Griffin Wilson and Parker Zieger.

Notable Swims

- Emma Davis took 3^rd in the 8 year old Girls 25 Free.

-Jack Jeppson swam to 2^nd place in the 8 year old Boys 25 Fly.

-Owen Pudenz took 2^nd in 3 events for the 9 year old Boys: 25 Free, 25 Back and 50 Free.

-Clark Williams earned 3^rd in the 7 year old Boys 25 Breast.

-Griffin Wilson placed in the top 3 in all 5 of his individual events for 9 year old Boys: 1^st place in 25 Free, 25 Fly and 25 Back; 2^nd place in 25 Breast and 3^rd in 50 Free.
