Eighty-eight Hammerheads raced at the 2024 NLU Sprint Decathlon in Gladstone, MO! Our team sprinted to an incredible 79% best times, with 475 personal bests, 55 new District cuts, 14 new Championship Bonus cuts, and 25 new Championship cuts! On to the highlights…

Nino Adrignola swam his first meet as a Hammerhead.

Noah Alkreidly raced his first meet as a Hammerhead.

Wyatt Allen crushed his 100IM with a 16 second time drop, and cut another 7 in his 50 breast.

Oliver Baugh competed in his first meet as a Hammerhead.

Harper Bowser splashed into a Bonus cut in his 50 breast, and grabbed a District cut in his 100 breast.

Logan Broek cruised to a pair of District times in the 100 fly and 100 free, and cut 18 seconds in his 200IM and another 11 in his 100 breast.

Britton Carlson raced her first 50 back, 50 fly, 50 breast, and 100 free.

Preston Carlson dropped 13 seconds in his 100 back for a District time, picked up a pair of District cuts in the 50 back and 50 free, and then dropped 11 seconds in the 50 breast.

Zelik Carpenter dropped some serious time: 11 seconds in the 100IM, 16 in his 100 breast, and another 8 in the 100 free.

Lucy Chute demolished her 100 fly and 100 back with 8 seconds cut in each event.

Alex Claerhout sprinted to an 11 second drop in her 200 IM, and a pair of 8 second drops in her 50 fly and 100 back.

Isabelle Collop raced to a District cut in her 100 breast, and dropped 7 seconds in the 100 back.

Kiefer Conrad cut crazy time with a 30 second cut in the 100 breast, and a 20 second cut in the 100 IM.

Chase Kindle crushed his 100 fly for a District time, and dropped 7 seconds in his 100 breast.

Harmony Lucas landed her 100 breast District time.

Cooper Rohr raced to Championship times in his 50 back and 100 back, and earned a District cut in his 100 free.

Jack Shekleton cruised to a 27 time drop in his 200IM, cut another 12 in his 100IM, and topped it off with a 10 second drop in his 100 free.

Phil “The Thrill” Shekleton sprinted to a 9 second cut and a District time in his 100 breast, crushed his 200IM with a 21 second cut, dropped 17 in his 100 fly, cut 14 in the 100IM, and then cut 8 seconds in his 50 fly.

Autumn Shuckahosee crushed her 100 free with a 16 second time drop, and then cut 11 in her 100 back.

Joseph Son dropped an incredible 25 seconds in his 100 breast, and another 7 in his 50 breast.

Elsie Sulzen cruised into District cuts in her 50 back, 100 back, 50 fly, and 50 breast.

Mia Sulzen picked up her District cut in the 100 breast.

Logan Summers made his Champ cut in the 50 free.

Mizzou Thai dropped a huge 27 seconds in his 50 fly, cut another 22 in the 50 breast, and dropped 12 in the 100IM.

Elaina Wells crushed her 100 breast with a 10 second drop for a Bonus time, cut 16 seconds for a District time in her 200IM, and dropped another 10 seconds in her 100IM.

Reghan Widner destroyed her 100 fly with a 57 second time drop for a District time, cut 15 and earned Districts in her 50 back, dropped 46 for Districts in her 100 breast, cut 12 seconds for Districts in her 50 free, made Districts in the 50 fly with an 18 second time drop, and then made District cuts in her 100 free with a 34 second drop and 50 breast with a 22 second drop.

Neil Williams willed himself to Champ times in his 100 fly, 50 free, and 100 free, raced to Bonus times in his 50 back, 100 breast, 100IM, 50 fly, 50 breast, and 200IM, and picked up a District cut in the 100 back.

Griffin Wilson raced to a District time in his 100 free with a 16 second time drop.
