Thirty-six Hammerheads raced at the TSA True Blue Igloo. This is a prelim/final meet, and is a great tune-up for the team leading into the Championship season! NLU walked away with 111 best times, 90 top-16 finishes, 8 District cuts, 5 Bonus cuts, and 4 new Champ cuts! Way to go! On to the highlights…

Notable Swims

Logan Broek sprinted to a top-16 spot, Bonus cut, and an 8 second drop in his 200 free; and grabbed a District time in the 200 back.

Nyema Clemons cruised to a total time drop of 14 seconds in her 200 IM, and returned to race finals in the 200 IM, 100 free, and 200 breast.

Malayna Cox scooped up a gold medal with her shiny new Champ time in the 200 free, dropping a total of 12 seconds; and placing top-8 in all of her events.

Leandro Crippa raced his first meet as a Hammerhead!

Noah Greenlee splashed to a silver medal with an 8 second drop in his 200 IM, and placed top-8 in the 50 fly and 50 back.

Sophie Hall took home silver in her 200 fly, and raced to finals in the 200 IM.

Harper Hoopes earned her District cut in the 100 fly; sprinted into the top-16 and a District cut with a 16 second drop in the 200 back.

Jack Jeppson placed top-8 in all of his events, highlighted by a second-place finish in the 50 fly.

Caden Kimmis cruised into the top-16 in all of his events, including two third-place finishes in the 50 and 100 breaststrokes.

Chase Kindle loved his first 200 fly so much he came back to swim it again at finals.

Megan Kindle raced to top-16 in the 100 free and 100 back.

Julian Locke had himself a meet, taking home gold in the 50 breast, 100 IM, and 100 breast; racing to top-4 finishes in every event; grabbing a Bonus time in the 50 free and Champ cuts in the 100 IM and 200 free.

Kian McHugh splashed into the top-8 in six of his events, including a trio of top-5 finishes in the 500 free, 100 fly, and 200 IM.

Neala McHugh  sprinted to a Champ cut and a top-16 finish in her 200 back, took home bronze in the 50 free, and made top-8 in the 200 IM, 100 free, and 100 back.

Adalind McManus placed top-16 in her 50 breast and 100 IM.

Matthew McManus cruised to a District cut in his 100 fly.

Leo Nguyen raced to finals in the 200 IM and 200 free.

Jeffrey Older grabbed a District cut in the 50 free, and placed top-8 in the 100 back.

Brady Poss took home FIVE silver medals in the 50 free, 100 back, 100 IM, 100 free, and 50 back.

Rainier Realina cruised to a Bonus cut with a 12 second drop in the 200 IM, earned a Bonus time in the 100 back to place top-8, cut 9 seconds for Districts in the 100 fly, grabbed another District time in the 100 free, and took home the bronze in the 100 breast.

Cooper Rohr sprinted into the top-16 in all of his events, highlighted by a pair of silver medals in the 100 back and 50 back.

Brady Scamman splashed into the top-16 in his 100 fly and 100 breast.

Breckyn Shaw crushed her 200 IM with a 9 second drop to place top-16, and raced to finals in the 200 breast.

Makenna Toyne grabbed her District cut in the 50 free, and raced into the top-16 in the 200 IM and 200 free.

Karder Walburn crushed his 100 breast to take home a Bonus cut and a silver medal.

Clara Wilson returned to race finals in all of her events, including the 100 fly, 100 breast, 200 IM, 100 free, and 200 breast.
